Wrath of Gods documentary starring Gerard Butler

I love movies all about Vikings… one day while surfing I found the official movie site for the epic movie Beowulf and Grendel starring Gerard Butler,  a new movie with chain mail and swords, I was so excited!  I read everything there was to read and I looked at the picture galleries, and watched all the great video clips that were put on to tease us while the movie was being filmed.   Jon Gustafsson, who was the Web Master on the site, and one of Beowulf’s warriors in the movie took along his camera and began capturing the behind the scenes story.  Jon is an Icelandic filmmaker who has made documentaries, music videos, short films, theatre shows, and feature length films. As he would put small portions of interviews with the cast and crew of Beowulf, I watched them over and over. It was hard to believe what they were going through trying to make their movie.  I found out that Jon was planning on making a documentary with the unbelievable story he had captured about the filming of Beowulf and Grendel and became very excited about this project.   I followed the progress of Jon Gustafsson’s film even more closely than I had of the actual movie and I believed in it with all my heart and I now passionately share my enthusiasm for and about Wrath of Gods.   Wrath of Gods has  been shown at festivals around the world and won six prestigious awards bringing Jon Gustafsson notoriety as a director and accolades for his work.  This is independent filmmaking at its best,  not only does it star Gerard Butler, but he joined Jon Gustafsson as co-producer of the film as well.
